Hidden treasure there...check out the serial number on the Singer site and you will be able to identify year, model no. and place of manufacture. Look forward to seeing what you do with "her". Oh and if you need help/info the Vintage Machine Shop is well worth a visit.

Congratulations!!! Actually, she looks pretty good. Her decals are in wonderful shape, she just needs a day at the spa :-D

Which model is it? Is this your first vintage machine? If it is, it won't be your last....hahaha :D

lucky you! A quilt guild here in Maryland was given a 1956 Featherweight 221 for them to auction off. case and all. It is showroom perfect. I bought 1 ticket as that is all the money I had with me. But definitely plan to buy a bunch more.
