I can't put my finger on what model this Singer is...and if anyone knows what it is, is it a good machine that I could recommend to my daughter?

it looks mostly like a 328, has zig zag but I can't see if there is a hatch that flips up to change cams?

Do a search at top of board and you should find several posts about the 327! Also, there is a Vintage Singer Yahoo Group that you can join...lots of great info. Hope this helps!

Thanks Nanamoms, I did that on both boards...there aren't that many posts about this particular model with info as to whether it is a "good" machine or a "better" machine...I sent the link to my daughter, she can make up her own mind!

The 327 does straight stitch only, so it won't take cams. EEEK it has a pin rag on it. Most likely lots of scratches in the paint under that.
