Can anyone tell me how to find the year my machine was made?
It is one of the old singers with the case that looks like an rural mailbox.

It is not a Featherweight it is in one of those wooden cases that looks like an old rural mailbox.
It is electric and very clean.
i don't know what model it is.
The case is broke on the bottom and I am trying to get it restored.

You can look up the serial number here to find the model and year of manufacture:

That type of wooden case is called 'Bentwood'. They are beautiful, aren't they?
