Default Machine shed update

I now have a Red Shed! The trim has not been painted yet - only primed. Still has a bit more outside work to finish up. And we still need to get the electrical trenched in. Getting a contractor to come out is about impossible (too much demand, very little supply) so DH will do that himself. We have a main disconnect, so that makes in safer to do other electrical work on the place. He won't be anywhere near the live incoming lines. Doing this is well within his abilities and experience, so that is not an issue.

I have started painting inside, but I normally don't have much time during the week. Hope to get it finished this weekend - but I need to plant 15lb of seed potatoes too.

Once I have the interior painted, DH will run the electrical (in conduit on the inside of the walls). Right now there is one temporary outlet run off the panel.

WOOHOOO!!!!

That's so very cool. It's awesome you and your DH can do so much of this on your own! That way you know for sure it's being done how you want it, too.

I've been having fun making quilts to hang on the walls - right now it's quite an echo chamber with that high ceiling. And then I don't have to be too worried about the painting - eventually very little of it will be showing.

Wow, painting that high ceiling would kill my neck and shoulders for a week! Love the warm caramel colour!
