Default Which machine would include this screwdriver

I know Singers included various screwdriver types among their accessories.

Which model or brand machine would this screwdriver have come from? I found it at a thrift shop Friday. I pulled the photo off of the Internet.

I wonder that myself. And I cleaned the one which I got and it turned out the clamped part was brass.

I had the assumption (possibly incorrect?) they were made by Greist or the attachments manufacturer.

Jon, I think you're right on that -- I got a screwdriver with a set of attachments (Greist) that I won on an e-bay auction for the Minnesota Model A I got for my cousin!

I have gotten that screw driver several times in attachment boxes and with vintage machines.

Those types of screwdriver have come with each of my 3 Singer Featherweights.

Looks like the one that came with my mom's Rocketeer. Only that one is black...

That is a Greist screwdriver - it is not like what came standard in the Singer sets. Simanco screwdrivers do not have that collar on them. I have a lot of Singer manuals, and have not seen one that shows that style screwdriver. I also have several Greist attachment manuals, and that is what they show.

Since Greist also sold aftermarket attachments that fit Singer machines (along with a whole bunch of others) - finding it with Singers is no surprise.

Interesting. I've never seen that tool and I own Featherweights, too. Think I'd like to have one. Love the long handle.
