Default The Mad Hatters sewing machine

My wife and I were watching Disney's Alice In Wonderland last night. In one scene The Mad Hatter played by Johnny Depp was make hats for the Red Queen. He was cranking away on what looked like a Singer 27 or 127 HC machine. It was a quick look from above and I couldn't be really sure of what it is.
It was late at night so I didn't feel like backing up the CD and taking a closer look. I'll try to do that today and if I can I'll do a screen cap.

There's a machine in One Upon a Time on ABC too. I keep trying to remember to get a screen cap when I'm watching it on Netflix. It's blue and under the stairs in Snow's place. And backwards of course.

Here's a lousy hand camera screen cap:

I'll try to get a computer screen cap later.

I think I just saw a Singer, at least a black sewing machine, in a Lexus commercial.

The nose end of it isn't shaped like a Singer.

agreed, it looks like at least a 3/4 machine that is long bobbin, but not Singer. That is something else?

Someone paid attention to details...they used an old wooden spool. Love that.

That lousy pic I posted makes it real hard to identify. My computer won't play videos any more, something's wrong with the copyright decoder thingy.
So I'm gonna get my tri-pod out and get the camera steady and try to take a couple more better pics. It might not be a Singer, but I don't think it's a NewHome, or White with the cast iron removable nose piece.

If you identified that correctly, good for you. Its very hard to tell from the photo. But now that I look harder, it looks like it has the silver window cover on the front and yes, it looks a lot like the 127 above.
