Default In the Pink

Another Pink machine...this one gnaws at my reason but I need a cabinet like another hole in my head.
It's a solid hour plus away.... No!

I'd buy it just for that sweet Mod cabinet.

The cabinets are a big deterrent to me too. There's only so much floor space. At least portable machines can be stored, shelved and hidden out of sight when not needed.

The cased ones are easier to move around and store but the ones in a cabinet or table are so much easier to use-at least for me. I'm not a huge fan of some of the mod stuff but that one isn't bad. At least it's real wood instead of formica like some of the ones I've seen. More than I could do right now due to spending a bunch of money on fabric and another sewing machine right after Thanksgiving but the price isn't bad.
The only possible deal breaker I see is the missing cover plate and possibly missing bobbin cover and bobbin to match.

so, buy it and sell or donate the cabinet and make a wood base for that darling! A pink Kenmore - wonder if this one is made by White?

Everything is an hour away for me, so that would be no deterrent, and this one will even fit in the car, so I wouldn't need to take the truck!

You could take one cabinet and convert it so you can drop a base from a machine in there. Then you can use it for what ever you want to sew on. That way you can have several machines in cases, and have a nice cabinet to put them in when you want to use them.
