Default My collection of Treasures.............

The quilt above my new-to-me vintage 1927 Singer Treadle machine is one made by my husband's maternal grandmother. It's hand pieced and hand quilted. It was headed for the garbage when my SIL said it was no good to her since it was all "raggedy" along the edges. I jumped on that opportunity. The machine is one that was found in an old barn and given to me by someone that I babysat with nearly 55 years ago. Quite the treasures, huh?

I'm so happy you were in the right place at the right time to save these treasures. I'm not "into" the older machines but the quilts are a different story. I do hope you get your pictures to post because would really love to see them.
