Sorry for the personal post here but I am too happy to try to figure out where it should go....

Yes, we are talking about my newly minted Lawyer, newly accepted into the JAG Corp for the US Army, gal!

I am so happy with her choice. He really does seem to be a solid young man and perhaps even her intellectual equal.

I kinda had a heads up because he called me last week to ask my permission...

Courtesy is not dead!

Big congrats to you and the couple too! Our son-inlaw also called my husband to "ask permission" for our daughter's hand and we were thrilled that he did. We already suspected that he was a great guy and the right one for her but that clinched the deal. What a great feeling, right? Gonna be hard to wipe that smile off you face for a while.
