Default Singer Story address
I looked at a Singer Treadle today. Looks like D888852 is the serial number. Can anyone give me a date and birth place for this machine. It has a Sphinx on it.

according to singer serial numbers it was made in 1909.

It is a Model 27, one of 50,000 allotted in March 9, 1909.
