My new/old Simpson`s sewing machine
I found this baby in a garage sale....what I love is that`s it`s Canadian...although it says made in the USA on the motor..lol I looked all over the internet to find info on it but just couldn`t find any. All I know is that it works like a charm....beautiful straight stitch and it purrs like a kitten...lol It has really been well taken care of....I have the cover for it but nothing else. The guy that sold it to me said it didn`t have the right needle, but it sews perfect...will have to find more. Anyways I love this machine. It is quite heavy though so I won`t be carrying it all over ...will find a permanent place for it....I call it Simpson...ha ha ha I got it for 20.00$

I'm thinking that the guy may have meant that it wasn't the right needle for sewing whatever had been trying to sew with it. AFAIK they all take the standard sewing machine needles.
Have fun with Simpson.
Janey, Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

I made a thread about getting rid of white tape. You do not want to pull it off. Use the naphtha and it won't pull off paint, etc. it may dull the finish. http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...e-t278748.html

It's a beauty. I agree about how heavy they are, way too heavy to lift and carry around, but very pretty. Thanks for showing her to us, never heard of that brand. Probably a Japanese clone for a department store.
