Default My New Old Toy Treadle

I found this Standard Treadle last summer at a antique shop in RI. Dealer was asking 75 I walked out with it for 55.00...Decals are in great shape, had bobbin case with one bobbin....Last summer I striped and refinished the cabinet. I finally got the sewing machine cleaned, greased, oiled and polished this wk after looking at it sitting for almost a yr. Got a new belt, got it all put together and working this wkend...so happy with my new vintage toy...and I can sew when the lights go out!!!!

Nice! Well done! You had me going with the title.... they actually did make "Toy" treadles and they are very rare. I was hoping to see one detailed here! hehehe

That Standard is beautiful. The decals look near perfect!

Did you know that this machine has a chain stitch adapter? And old class 15 bobbins (metal) will fit.
