I found this at an estate sale in Odessa (the town about 20 miles away) weekend before last. I've been playing with it all week! This is the best sewing machine I've ever used!!! 8-)

401A

I payed 22.50 for it!!!

Stitch selector.

Built in stitches.

Playing with stitches. I also used to make the Solar System Quilt for DGS due in Sept.

Top tray

It needs a new rubber 'thingie' for the bobbin winder

This nob is also missing. How important is it? The instruction book said that it was for fine tuning stitch length but I've had no trouble so far.

At home in part of my sewing area.

Beautiful machine. Don't you just love playing with all of the fancy stitches. The stitch lengh is just missing it's end cap so it won't effect anything.

Very nice and blonde cabinet too!

Mine is in dark wood and just had it serviced last week for $85.00 and repair to the bobbin winder; haven't had the chance yet to put her back in her sewing cabinet.
