Red face My taupe 301 find

Two years ago, we found our next door neighbor at the time divesting himself of his exwife's belongings by throwing everything in a dumpster. There, in excellent condition was a singer sewing machine vintage case. We asked for it, walked it home, and didn't know what we had. Took it to a repair shop and after thirty five dollars for basic cleaning and refurbishing I have a new machine! It had been used very little. My treasured 301a was "born" approx the same year I was, so how fitting to create my very first quilt on it! (with the wonderful lessons from my sisters). A new passion is born!

    Do you need a manual?
    http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals
type in 301 and hit search then you can print out your manual.

I have/had all the colors that the 301 was made in. It is a great machine , you'll love sewing with it. I've sold all but 1 black 301.
