National 2 spool

Smile National 2 spool

Hi I'm new, but I know this is the place to be for answers.I just got a National Elderige 2 spool treadle machine as a gift.I need some needles for this beauty.I have the original manual, key to the drawers, and all the attachements. Thanks for any help you can give.

Congratulations!!! I would love to have one of those!! I can't offer you any help about the needles but there are several members of this forum who have the two-spools machines and they will probably be able to help you. Welcome to the forum, BTW!

Thank you.I was thrilled.And the more I read and hear about it,I know it must be a real Gem, cant wait to be using her,and trying all the different attachments.

HI! I own a National Two Spools.
The Two Spools uses the standard needles;so, no need to hunt down a special one.

The standard needle that is used in the modern machines, a 15x1, that can be purchased at a JoAnn's or other fabric sewing center stores.

To post pictures and use other cool features:

Go to settings--top right; then to general settings--scroll down list on left. Now scroll to Misc settings and check enhanced interface. See below----Make sure to save changes.

Miscellaneous Options

Message Editor Interface:
• Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing
• Basic Editor - A simple text box
• Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls

After the change, when you reply the reply box has features on the top for font, size, color, similie, and upload of pictures. Just click on them to see how they work.
