if you find a model number you can go to singerco.com and look it up for more info or post it and someone will help you the model number should be on that brass plate

I see it has the tensioner on the face plate, so it is a model 15. The question now is age....the serial number will be on the the front of the bed in front of the main column, on a brass plate. If you can get that, we do know source to find month and year that serial number was allotted.

BTW, the 15s are very good for free motion quilting, as the feed dogs drop and the throat is very large, allowing lots of room for rolling up your quilt.

Thanks for letting me know that it is a 15. I haven't picked it up yet. When I do I can check the serial number!!! Also it looks to me like the belt is duct taped. Where do you suggest I go for a replacemant belt?

My 115 has the tensioner on the face plate like yours. Do yo have the serial #? You can look it up online to find out what model it is.

Donna Kohler at Treadlelady.com is a great source for belts and other missing parts for your machine. She was on Alex Anderson's show a long time ago, treadling away. Very nice lady, and very knowledgeable. She will help you get it up and running.
