Default Need items for treadle machines

Hi all,
I need to get some items for a couple of my treadle machines. I recall time and again folks pointing to 'Cathy ?sp'. Would someone, or Cathy herself, point me to her. I'd like to she if she can help me out.

Many thanks,
d

Deb, send a PM to Mizkaki (Cathy's board name) I'm betting that if she can't help you, she can point you to someone that can!

Whatcha need?

Sorry 'bout that- I didn't answer your question.

Needing some more belt :-), bobbins for Singer 27s, (yup, that's plural), a hand crank and possibly at least one more bobbin for the Davis. Quite a shopping list, eh?

Oh yes, and a shuttle for a Singer 27.

Marylian,

Deb has one of the nicest early Davis VF machines that I've ever seen!! Pics are here:

Aw, thanks Charlee. These old machines are amazing.

Yesterday I walked away from a machine with very good lotus decaling. Monday I walked away from a 28 La Vincendora. Originally I had thought we could convert the La V to a handcrank but then realized it most likely doesn't have a motor boss. That would mean another (did I say "another" outloud?) machine head to go with the 28 Tiffany. But they both sure would look mighty fine sitting in display boxes handcrafted by dh. (Hun, I gotta spin this to make it sound like I'm doing it for him :-)

best,
d
