Brother Industrial - DB2-755 - good for anything?
I have an ad in the local buy/sell, for unwanted machines. The guy wants $50 (canadian, which is about $2 US I believe )
I was thinking if it's variable speed, which it looks like it is,.. a person could make it into a quilting machine...? it takes DBx1 needles which are available to me.
I know nothing at this pint about industrial machines though, and what to look for.
Any thoughts?

Well, in the end, it didn't matter. The guy gave me his address, phone number and said I could text as well. Said he'd be around til 3, and then stood me up. Yes, I showed up at his house at 2:15, rang the door bell, called his phone and texted him, no response.
I rang the doorbell a bunch of times, after I realised he wasn't home, just to watch his dogs tear at the plastic on the window. It's only fair for standing me up after I drove into the city to meet him.
