Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Now that I actually have a 401A, all my previous sites that I studied are "lost in cyber space" somewhere. Can anyone point me in the direction of a site for the PDF download? Singer has also changed its site so I'm lost again!!

I like to print them out and scribble on them
401a repair manual - you have to scroll down 125 pages more or less to get to the 401

Thanks so much, Miriam, I'm going to print it out too. I keep the pdf manuals in 3 ring binders. I've gotten tickled using my FW and 301 Manuals. The written instructions usually refer to a pic/diagram on the NEXT page. At first, this was confusing but I caught on. The wording is kinda old fashioned too so that just adds to the charm of the old machines!!
I am looking for the service manual foe the Singer 301, is there a site for that manual?

Thanks Miriam, I all ready have that manual, I was looking for the service or repair manual, I understand there is one available for the Singer 301. Is there a site for the repair manual?
The Yahoo vintage Singer's group has it posted.
Here is one that is on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Service-manu...#ht_500wt_1301
