Default Can someone identify this vintage machine for me?

My aunt and uncle gave me an old treadle machine and cabinet--cannot read any of the emblems-it needs a good cleaning up and painting--But i do not know what brand it is or the age?--they told me they have no idea...only found one set of numbers on it under the bobbin plate--2948524--possibly a 6 and Z above it?

Hopefully my pics will show up...this is a shuttle machine--

It's a machine made by National. It could have been badged National, but it could have been any number of department stores and factories. My National is badged Leader. I don't know if National has a registry.

The original decals were gold. Cleaners silver them - or actually remove the gold - that's why we use only sewing machine to clean around the decals.

It looks a lot like a circa 1906 or earlier New Home I've seen.
