New Buttonholler for my collection

New Buttonholler for my collection
I added a new buttonholler to my collection. It's a Precision Built B - 3 low shank unit.
It came with the cams, a feed dog cover plate, screws, a template puller to pull the cams out of the end of it. And instructions. Shows little if any use.
Instead of opening the bottom like the Greist made buttonhollers or the top like the Kenmore and Singer Professional ones, you push the 1/2 cam into the rear of the buttonholler until is snaps in.
Then to remove the cam you push the template puller in with the little tap facing up under the cam and then pull it out.
So far I've oiled it and examined it, but haven't used it yet. I'll have to do that soon.
So far all the other buttonhollers I've collected have been made in the U.S.A., this one is marked Made in Japan. It actually came with a seam ripper, the instructions call it a "fork cutter" to cut the buttonholes after you've made them. That's missing, but I can replace it easily.
I've got to find a way to display all my button hollers and take a group picture of them.

I have that same buttonholer. It is so cool. Mine didn't come with that feeddog cover. Thanks for sharing. I've never seen another one.

I think they are attracted to me. Every time I turn around I'm picking up another one. The Greist / Singer versions are the most common, then come the various Kenmores, and then come the different ones like this one.
The half round feed dog cover this one came with is shown in the parts list of the buttonholer, but a Singer style one is shown in the instructions. So it looks like they had a couple different styles.
I've got an old rifle cabinet out in the garage I think I'm going to put shelves in it and use it to display my accessories, buttonholers and other goodies.

I seem to be collecting these extra vintage parts -have about 6 buttonhollers I think. Decided within the year I
want to unload these. There is NOT ---I said NOT --a penquin walking foot for the 221 FW in my box of stuff.
Also have no glass feet but do have some weird pieces and many extra feet.
All I want for Christmas is a wooden puzzle box filled with attachments in very good condition just because I
was facinated with one years ago before I knew what it was used for. I know ebay sells them but I was hoping
someone else would go to the bother of ordering me one and my brother gets around where he can find one.
