Lets explore our choices and not force choices. OK, off my soap box. Lovely photos all around. I am glad I took extra time to just peruse the extra areas of the Quilt Board postings this morning. The adorable girl in the tutu struck me different I guess. What I thought was how great it was to let a kid express herself any way she liked - and I thought maybe she was trying to see where she fit as a girl. That would be me - a sledge hammer in one hand - wearing a tutu under the hoodie...... shut up you GUYS.

I, for one, love a good tutu when I get to use my sledge. Both things make me very very happy. I agree, I love the new images for the most part. I was so sick of the "professional woman steps on man" type of images and I really like the images of (presumed) dad's with kids too.

My wife and I looked through all 44 of the images provided at the link, studied them closely, and tried to determine which ones had been posed and which ones were snapshots of a real activity. It helps to bring out some of the details in the photo, at least to us.

I also used to enjoy the “write a caption” contests that were in the newspapers years ago, so we had a silly time of making up dialog that probably was not what they were saying (or thinking) when the photo was taken. We had fun with it. Thanks for posting.
