Default New Getty Images

I suppose Getty images felt the need to update their stock photos to more accurately represent the times. I was going through the images and found this little jewel. I found the images on Buzz feed http://www.buzzfeed.com/ashleyperez/...-look-at-women and at the bottom is a link to all the new ones. I was just excited about this one. Pretty cool on a lot of levels!

I wish my mom had taught me how to sew when I was younger. Wellllllll, I got her sewing machine.

I liked that it was (presumably) a mom and kid (and a boy kid to boot!) and that it was a vintage HC.

I agree about this photo and the others were just as stunning. So many images of our lives from a new perspective. The young girl in the hoodie with a basketball in a tutu shows not only the options that we have as children but the stress that we can put out children under to make choices too young. Lets explore our choices and not force choices. OK, off my soap box. Lovely photos all around. I am glad I took extra time to just peruse the extra areas of the Quilt Board postings this morning. Thank you

On second thought that looks like me when I was so young and still learning how to sew. Except I am using my Mom's singer 15 treadle.
