Default New Home treadle

I just found this on Craigslist for $25.00. She's a beauty. I don't know anything about her yet but I'm excited to call New Home on Monday to find out her birth date.
I recently found a Singer 66 on CL for $30.00 and I love sewing on her. I made a tote bag for a friend and it was alot of fun. It does take a little practice to get the hang of treadling but so worth it! The Redeye sews a perfect stitch. Its amazing how great these old machines still sew.

Muv has some videos for cleaning up the machine. The cabinet looks totally FAB!!! http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...v-t167789.html
You do not have to have the exact machine Muv has - just clean the parts the way she does. It works! A bit of Triflow goes a very long ways. Love the stuff - you can get it at a bicycle shop or sew-classic - I 'm sure there are other places to get it.

I just recently bought a New Home treadle machine from Craigslist, too!! Your cabinet is much prettier than mine, though. That red eye is sure a beauty!! Do you have any other machines that you can show us?

Beautiful cabinet and machine. I also see that a glass of wine is in your tool kit. Does it work well?

Yes the wine is a great addition to any quilters tool kit. I have a 1 glass limit. Can't drink and drive a sewing machine straight.
I will post a picture once the machine is all cleaned up. I need to take pics of all my others to post as well.
