Here is my new home that a retired lady at work just gave me. S/n 1656885 medallion shows made in West Germany. Anybody know vintage? Excellent shape. Just had to dust her out and give her a drink. Zig zag, embroidery & buttonhole option. However I have no manual and it appears the only way to load bobbin is by tipping back the head. It is cast so this is not very handy. Is there something I don't know (most likely). Also this appears to be a 3/4 size so now it is the biggest harp I own since my other 2 machines are a FW and a brother XL3750. Oh and my old ww9 treadle which I guess really has the largest harp. Still looking for that older singer with a large harp for FMQ a larger quilt.

I just today bought this New Home treadle. It is dated 1892. The decals are about gone, one of the covers is missing and the manual is in tatters- but the cabinet is cool, the shuttle is there and there was an extra spool for the shuttle and there was a box of attachments. I will need to find needles, a manual and definitely the other piece of the cover plate (the part with the patent numbers on it).
