It's a type 15, badged clone. If you google or do a search here there's tons of info about 15 clones.

It's stamped "made in Canada" would that mean just assembled?

I'll take Candace's word for it. The pics are so huge ( over 1.5 mb each ) my dial up can't open them.

What part is marked "Made In Canada"? The machine, or the motor?

Look underneath and see if there is a J-A number. If so the machine is made in Japan. If not it's still made in Japan.

Under it is stamped sears sinco model # c877.15 made in Canada. The motor is stamped made in Canada, by the "shoe" company.

Can't help but love it! But even with DSL the pictures arn't loading up right. Only the first one started where I could see it for a few seconds and then it disappered?

My machine won't open the pic either and last I knew this wasn't dial up.

I like the Kenmore clones, the MW and the Universal a lot.

You have an adorable model 15 clone which you will absolutely love once you get her cleaned and oiled!! I have one just like it but the name on it is "Capri"
