that is the rheostat portion of the foot pedal. It appears to be disconnected from the foot pedal in this pic.

Actually the rheostat is attached to the side of the controller. The foot part is shaped like a foot and is to the right under the arm of the machine. You can see part of it behind the motor. I got to fondle it a bit while Macybaby was here. I've put a controller like that on my want list now.

I had to chuckle.

On some of those controllers, if you plug it in and mash on the "foot", you'll think a "potato ricer thingy" just got turned loose in your space!!! LOL!

Here are a few more pictures of the potato ricer.

I've been out painting my machine shed Red - but it's suppose to rain later so I had to quit for the night.

Showed to a friend this morning and told him it's like this in case you forget how to use it

Just another look at that wiring Cathy and I'm wondering who wrapped the electrical tape around the power cord. Don't want to be a panic merchant but I'd be replacing that wiring with new. Usually the insulation is cracked at that stage.

Hmm.. you don't sell your extras but share them. Having been a beneficiary of your kindness in the past I'm wondering now what you have. If you have a spreadsheet of your swapsies and your needs do you want to share it with, for example, me?

manicmike, I'm slowing going through what I have, and until I get into the new building, it's slow going! I plan on going through my puzzle box stuff this weekend. I wanted to have 3-4 complete boxes - and some day I'll nab a really early one (got outbid at $110 on the last one).

I'm not sure how many I have now, however I've got lots and lots of puzzle pieces that came with other stuff. I've got two people I'm sending parts too, and hopefully there will be a few more with puzzle boxes they need a few missing pieces for. Though I know I do not have extra screwdrivers. The number one missing pieces from any set of attachments are the screwdrivers and stilleto.

Some day - I'll have given away the "extras" and be down to what I want to keep. I never intended to end up with parts I didn't want, unfortunately way too often, the one part I do what shows up in a pile of common parts I already have an overabundance of.
