the paint chips don't bother me --- but the peeling is a concern. i don't want the finish to peel off. i stitched with her today -- remembered how to thread the needle sideways -- and it's ready for the grandgirls to stitch a few stitches tonight. :)

If you haven't read some of Lostn51's tutorials, it is really worth it to find them and check out all the great information in them. Here's some information about touching up black japaning using paint pens
