New project machine!
This 1910 singer 27 came to me and said "help!" She is in ok shape. She needs to be rewired. The bobbin winding wheel is stuck. And of course, it needs a throat plate. There is a little mold in the case under the machine, how do I get rid of that. I have the shuttle and 5 bobbins, the foot control and several other attachments.

spray a little hilex or chlorox in there and wipe it out. let it set to dry to make sure that it is all gone. if not spray again wipe and let dry. sew classic has the throat plates I think. can always email Jenny and ask. pretty machine, I hand cranked my Lavincedore in a case like that one. cleaned the case with some wood cleaner. make sure you use sewing machine oil to clean your machine and triflow to loosen up any stuck parts. I really like the Triflow. can get it from Jenny too.

Pretty machine! If you need new wires and want the look of cloth covered wire to match the age of your machine (and most likely it's conversion to electric) then Sundial wire is a good source. I've bought from them a couple times in the past for different projects and I'm happy with them.

Very nice, you have a 128 there, not a 27. It's also probably a bit newer then 1910 as ISMACS has this model and decal as being used by Singer from 1912 to 1960.
If you looked up the serial number to get the date and model number - check and make sure you have the correct number. it gets goofy for the G series as Singer went from 000,000 to 999,999 and then went to 1,000,000 up to 9,999,999 and then since they needed more, jumped to 0,000,000 and went to 0,999,999
