Default New treadle is home ... and it's not a Singer

Joe
I have one too. First bought a head only. Then found a treadle. S#s 66950 and 557170. According to Tina, who researches New Homes, they are indeed Pre Model A.

Cathy, do you have the attachments like came with mine? If so could you take some close up, end on, pics of the hemmers for me? Mine are squished flat and also otherwise bent and mutilated. I'd like to try to straight them out.
They're all marked "New Home" with late 1800s patent dates on them. Even if I can't make hemmers work, I'd like them to look as good as possible for the ensemble.

I will. As soon as I get a few repairs done, a few parts replaced and the wood cleaned and re-shellacked I'm going to start a new quilt with it.
