Let me preface this by saying that I don't have an antique or vintage machine. I have a new Juki TL2010Q. What is the best, most high quality sewing machine oil to use? I still have oil that came with my machine, but I'm thinking ahead to the time I need more. My local sewing machine guy recommended Tri-Flow, but I'm not sure I trust his advice, since all he had on the shelf was Tri-Flow! The Juki people gave me a part number, but when I looked it up, it wasn't even oil--sigh. I figured that those of you who fix and rebuild machines would be the best experts. Advice, anyone? Thanks for your time;I really appreciate it.

He was right. Triflow is the way to go.

Likewise. Tri Flow has Teflon in it and will help with old machine. How can it harm a new one? Your machine mfg. may require that you use theirs during the warranty period however.

You can't go wrong with Triflow in my opinion, if you would rather not though, Sew Classic sells a nice grade clear sewing machine oil. Either one will be good.
Stay away from 3 in 1 oils.

There is a reason for only having tri-flow in the shelf. No need for anything else

Check your manual! Always best way to go. Like others have stated according to manual and warranty.
