Default old packard machine question

I am cleaning one up for my daughter.I went online to see how to thread it as the thread tension discs are on the end of the machine not the front.I can get it to pick up the bobbin thread but it will not form any stitches at all.Any ideas as to what is wrong? thanks in advance.

wolph33,

Just the name doesn't tell us what machine you have. I couple of good clear pics in the size range of 640x480 or 800x600 would tell us most if not all we need to know.

Generally though from what you said, I'd hazard a guess that you either have the needle in wrong, threaded wrong, or the bobbin is in wrong.

I was going to say that the needle is in wrong or it is threaded wrong....but Joe beat me to it!
