Default Old Singer on shopgoodwill.com

Just saw an old Singer on shopgoodwill.com The model isn't listed, but the serial number is AC086781

The auction ID is 4661271. It's in Hillsboro, OR. You could save the really high shipping costs if you live in the vicinity.

Actually Goodwill revamp their website recently and I've noticed that the shipping costs are much less then they used to be . . . like half price.

It's a 99, one of 15,000 allotted April 10th 1928.

GW is still having some technical problems, so if you bid be patient and persistent.

Karen,

In the past each GW seemed to price the shipping at their own whims. I think they were trying to make up for some low bids by jacking up the shipping and handling prices. I simply checked the shipping before I bid and refused to bid on those that were gouging the bidder.
When they attempted to revamp their system I noticed that their shipping costs were reduced significantly.
But they've had a lot of trouble and as of the last notice we got from them have reverted back to the old format. Sooo ........ buyer beware.
