Default Older posts - more than a year ago - query!

I was surprised to find a thread about "National Two Spool Sewing Machine" and, having one of these machines, was very much interested in anything written about it! What was strange is that this showed up as one of "the most talked-about subjects". The peculiar thing is that all of the posts, including the original post, were made in May 2013!

Is this the norm? I am always interested in anything about the Two Spool machine, but, IMHO, this is a slightly obsolete thread(?)!

After re-reading the thread, I realized that the final post on the thread was made September 2014! Okay, so I need my eyes examined! I did not see that current post!

I think that was me!
When new-to-the-board people ask questions that have been talked about many times before, they are often referred to the old threads. The information is still relevant and usable. I was surprised, when I asked my question and was referred to the old thread, that I had actually responded to the old thread in 2012. I had forgotten about that, but I got more information this time around.

Thanks for responding, and the PM.

Hey Jeanette,

Personally, I love that the old information is still here. It saves the time of typing all of the info out again, and in the case of vintage machines like the one you're talking about - a year is really a drop in the bucket as far as age when compared to the age of the machine. It's not like there's breaking news on the model.
