Over edge foot

Over edge foot
Does anyone currently make an over edge presser foot? I've been using the ones that came with the 60s and 70s vintage Singer ZZ machines and I've come to like them. But all of those I have are the old thin ankle snap on feet. I'd like to have some low shank solid type feet if anyone makes them.
I've been looking but so far have not found any.

Your zigzag stitches form over that bar in the middle...it keeps the stitches from pulling too tight & making the fabric tunnel. I've had a similar one for about 20 years. It works great! You can zigzag (or use your machine's overcast stitch) on the edge of silk, batiste...any soft fabric & the edge stays nice & flat.

Similar but not the same. I just spent a half hour taking pics and stubbing my toe ( on the HOTHER in it's case on the floor), editing them and putting them on photo buket. So I'm gonna post 'em, then I'm gonna root through my footsie box and see if I have one like you found at Nancy's Notions. If so I'll try it out and see how it works.
The foot is on my 401A and is a Singer snap on foot:

End results.
So the end result is the same as Nancy's but the foot is designed different.

I have 2 obvious listings for slant overedge feet in my spreadsheet from my supplier, one for Riccar machines and one that doesn't list what shank it is: 385100
I can't find anything on google or bing for it though. If you can find out if that's a low shank, you can see if anyone sells it, or can get it for you.

I dug through my box of feet and found two that look like the ones on Nancy's Notions. Mine are Japanese made, but do not look like junk. I thought they were Singer parts until I used my jewelers loop to read what is on them.
Unlike the modern made presser feet, these are all steel.
On the top of the presser foot bar side of the ankle they are marked with an "L" over the word "Japan".
The on the inside of the top of the foot it's marked: US PAT. 3512490, under that; OTHER PATS. PENDG.
I haven't used them yet, but will do so soon.

Joe, I've never seen any low shank overedge feet that are made like the Singer slant shank ones (wire on the right side, etc). I DO have the Singer slant shank one that's NOT a snap-on...& the overedge cam that is used with it.
But all the low shank ones I've ever seen are like yours (& the one at Nancy's Notions). mine might be the exact same foot. I like mine MUCH better than the Singer ones. Seems to keep the stitches (& fabric) flatter.
