I put one of the ones I posted the pic on above on my Alden. Worked good until he who shall not be named switched to a different stitch pattern. At which time the needle came crashing down on the little flat divider bending that and breaking in two.
The foot no longer feeds right. I'm gonna try to fix it.
And, the over edge foot for the slant shank Singer snap on ankle will not fit the Singer low shank snap on ankle. The low shank ankle is just enough wider to prevent it. There must be some difference in needle placement to require separating them.

Here's the page, Joe http://cart.jennys-sewing-studio.com...73_101_164_168 It's a snap-on for a low shank Singer. Styled like the slant shank snap-on one you have but for a low shank.
I've been looking...etsy, ebay, bonanza, etc...& still don't see a low shank one that ISN'T a snap-on.

I became curious as to whether or not I had overcast attachments for any of my machines. Hit paydirt with my Elna SU and Elna 7300. The SU overcast foot is exactly like the ones you have Joe. The 7300 is a snap on foot but it does have two wires that the stitches cross over. There is even a little bristle brush to the side of the wires. Must have some purpose but unsure as to what it is.

So then the two I have are or at least were part of an Elna accessory set. Cool.
I like the second one. I'll bet that brush is meant to do something, but I can't think of what.
No road trip yet. It will be at least the 19th before we can head out. Looks like this trip will be a very interesting one too. Besides what we need to pick up we'll meet up with Miriam and compare notes with at least two or three machines we have in common, maybe do some trading and maybe buy some things. Fun times will be had by all.
