Default Please meet Matilda

Recently I was given this 1950's Necchi Supernova. She sews like a dream, is very quiet and altogether a lovely piece of engineering. I don't have all the cams for her but hopefully I can find them. Photographed here with the supernova toy machine.

There was one of those at a rummage sale I was at last year, for $40 and in a nice cabinet, I would have loved to have gotten it, but didn't have a way to get it home nor did I have room for it.

I love that machine! It's on my secret wish list - which means I'd secretly love to get one, even though it does not fit anywhere in my "collection". I just love the round needle plate!

The round needle plate has three sets of holes: one for straight and zigzag stitches, one for straight stitch on fine fabrics like silk and nylon and the third for stitching with twin needles.

I have the same machine and she is the QUEEN at my house and my favorite, and sews like a dream. Congratulations. If I come across cams for it I will let you know because you will just love the prettiest cam stitches you will ever see.
