Default Poll: What design of light mounting does your 15 clone have:

Round disk under the inspection plate like this one:

~ OR ~

The tab with screw type:
{ http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/Ligh...ack-SCE503.htm }

Of the top of my head I think most of mine have the first type. But I have to dig them all out to make sure what they have.

I just acquired one that came without a light. So I'm mulling over which type to get.

Both...I have several 15 clones. I haven't noticed any significant differences in one over the other except the round one tends to just fall down when unscrewed unless I hold onto it and the one that has a place to slide into the casting does stay put until I remove it.

I have six 15 clones. I know my HOTHER has the first or round type. I can't remember the others. I'll have to dig them out and look.

Of the two types I like the tab the best as it stays put if you remove the inspection plate. The other type falls down or off as SunflowerZZ said.

OK, I dug mine out and here is what I found:

Hother = round
Edison = round
Commodore = round
Dressmaker = round
Sewmor 202 Black = round
Sewmor 202 Blue = don't have a light.

Anybody else gonna look at theirs?

LOL, candle holder. Do you use scented candles as you sew?

I would not put a candle in it.... It was originally a "wax holder" for pre-waxing the thread for sewing leather, but the last functional owner (in the 20's) used it for a candle so she could sew into the evening...
