Default A Pretty Girl in Blue, A wizard

She is a Wizard. The badge shows her as a Deluxe Precision Built, Precision Sewing Machine Distributors, made in Japan. There is a sticker on the side of the piller that says Brother International Corporation Model 40. The bottom case is being held together with silver duct tape but the upper case is in average condition. Silver suits her, don't you think?

My daughter picked her up for me and test drove her, she sew beautifully. I was really lucky on this one since it was a pickup only and I did not have to pay for shipping, the cost was $9.83.

Caroline,

I was watching that machine and really considered going for it until I saw it was PU only. Glad you got it. Now it just needs a new case to live in. Duct tape just ...... well, it just don't go with the purty blue machine.

I saw that one and was struck by the distinctive duct tape dress. She is a pretty little thing!

Lucky you! I had my eye on that machine too, but you sewing machine collectors have all the luck in Washington state. : )

I even like the duct tape. Now you need to duct tape the top of the case to match. Or is that taking it too far?

she looks like she might be a cousin to Janie Doe http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...r-t169127.html poor Janie Doe has been left behind - when DIL left DS she left Janie too. He says its ok - Janie is better company.
