1950's pink Atlas Sewing Machine on C/L Portland, OR

I really would love a pink Atlas but I think the price they are asking is a little outrageous....Or am I wrong? What do you think?

They're dreaming.

Wayyyyyy too high. Wait a while to see if they repost with lower prices. Eventually if it doesn't sell they may consider a reasonable offer.

I saw one last month at G'will in a carrying case, $49.99, no extra accessories. Keep looking and you will find one at a reasonable price.

That was my thinking but thought I would ask.

Thank you for the responses. Will keep a look out for a better deal.

400 LOLOL must be harvest time around portland ..or a boat load of tweak just hit town ..

maybe two months ago I traded a late 40's black 15 clone for a pink atlas, going by the style over the hood (front piece) it's the oldest I've seen yet, I think one nick in the paint job...The ink is not faded out a tall.. dd a ceaning job, tore the motor down ect,, t rans so well, to prove that , I made a king denim quilt on it,, Then gave that machine and the quilt back to the lady I got it from, telling her to never sell it, sae that for your kid ,, OR if you do need to sell ,, do not take less than $85 for it .. she paid $35 from a GW.. Then told her let hubby use the black one, keep his hands off that atlas, both machines are hers LOLOLOL...

Let them keep it. Some people think that because a machine is "older" that it's worth tons of money, and for some machines that may be, but that machine isn't one of them.
