Bernette 200

I am just about to acquire a Bernette 200. The reason I bought it is because it's purely mechanical and it was made by Pfaff. It's a baby Pfaff. The current Bernettes are made by Janome. Huge difference is how they sew! I have a Pfaff as a backup machine. I was getting quilts ready for a show and my one and only Bernina at the time needed a new circuit board. Desperation made me go into a Pfaff store to buy a used machine. I bought an awesome Pfaff and finished all my Journal quilts with it. A few days after getting the Bernina back, I pulled into a garage sale and bought another Bernina that was so ridiculously priced, I couldn't leave it there. Now you're thinking I'm crazy owning these machines. But wait! There's more. A month ago I discovered the Bernina Nova. Mine has red knobs, purely mechanical and reasonably priced. Which means, I didn't buy it on Ebay. Once oiled and cleaned, it purrs like a kitten. I love the little thing! Now I just found the Bernette(Pfaff) 200. It, too, should stitch extremely well and is lightweight. I'm so excited for it to get here! There is one listed on Ebay right now. I don't know if the price is OK. Just don't know enough about the machine. Does anyone know it? Please share your knowledge.

I would like to know opinions, too. I want to branch out to other brands...have Singers and Brothers and a Kenmore to be restored but also looking for a newer (yet old) Bernina, Janome, or Pfaff!!
