Does anyone know the model of this vintage singer?

My mom's vintage singer has the numbers in the lower right corner AF438414. I'd like to refurbish it, but I don't know the model? I greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me or give me a website to research this. Thanks for any help!!!!!!!

Your serial number shows that your mama's machine is a 201, commissioned on Feb. 27, 1940. :)

Got photos? :)

What is the difference in a 201-1 and 201-2?

Thanks Charlee for the info. It is a 201 and I'm just waiting for a foot pedal/power cord to come in to try it out to see how it sews. Everything still turns freely even the motor so I'm hoping it will sew great. My worry is that the tension will be off and I'll have to fight with that. Thanks everyone for your help.
