E-bay sent wrong machine

I won a featherweight on e-bay. Seller sent me a Goodhousekeeper machine . Cool but not what I bid on.
I sent it to the person who was supposed to get that one and they were supposed to send me the featherweight.
Sent me a black 301. I really like the 301 but I already have 2 of them. Course I have 2 featherweights too.
Messaged the seller ..No idea what will happen now. been almost an adventure. SSUZZ

That stinks! What ails the seller.

Hope it all works out. I haven't had any trouble with Ebay....most sellers seem to be pretty keen to keep their ratings up.

You have to be so careful when dealing on e-bay. you need to (try) get in touch with a very good seller. I'm not saying that most of the sellers aren't good ones. My favorite for vintage machines is nifty thrifty girl. She shows videos and even demonstrates the machines and is honest with what you're gonna get. She even states in her videos that if you're viewing the video on any other sellers sight, that you will not recieve the machine being shown. You just have to be very careful. Hope this works out for you and you get the machine you bid for. Please let us know.

Notify bay on their buyer protection link. They straighten things out quickly. I had a mixup once and all was fixed fast.

WoW! That's just crazy. I'm hoping that the mistake was accidental. I can tell you that you really have to have a system to keep things straight when you're selling a lot of stuff on eBay. I helped out a friend selling stuff from his mom's estate and I often had 8-10 things selling per day. It can get confusing. But the others are right on..... the eBay protection is for the buyer (not so much for the seller), and they will help you straighten things out. I love my FWs ...... would be kicking and shouting if that was happening to me. Keep us posted.

Goodness!! Musical machines! :D Sounds to me like the seller got a bit mixed up, but is trying to work with everyone to make it right?
Good luck, and I hope you get your FW soon!

She is not the only one with mixed up machines. However it was not EBAY's fault that I did not get my black 301 that I paid for. It was FED EX. Seller sent pictures and addresses with her dh (he works there) and all they did was put this beautiful HAND CRANK JONES in a box that did not fit the case (wooden with key) not bubble wrapped or anything. Geez, what are they smokin? I took the box to my PO to ship to the person who was supposed to get it and they would not take it the way it was---had writing FED EX all over it. I took home to repkg and sent seller an email last night and this morning got one back that said wait don't ship. 1st it was asap, now wait--she is supposed to get movey back from FED EX. I would love to keep the hand crank. I wonder what was paid for it. never saw it on ebay for sale.
