Can anyone help me with a date of mfg for Ser # AG990924 Cat #3-110. The serial numbers do not go that high in the AG's. I would like to sell it and it would be great to have mfg year

I never go by those books or websites I just call Singer and get the real skinny. Just call 1-800 4Singer, they are really nice and will give you the type you have the birth year and where it was made.

Good luck

I am also looking for a Featherweight for my cousin. I have to shop on the "cheap", so I have to get a very, very good deal! I got mine on a real fluke -- it was at the Goodwill store here in town - paid only $50, and it's in absolute pristine condition. Just needed dusting, oiling, and a new belt, and is fantastic!

Good luck with yours.
