Please tell me where to find this lever. I looked and I cannot see one.

The arrow is pointing to a thumbscrew...unscrew that, "move the feed lifting crank down so that the thumb screw will enter the proper hole. Having inserted the screw in this hole, tighten it firmly. The feed is thus rendered inoperative and will not interfere with the free movenment of the work. Move the stitch regulator to the neutral position in the center of the slot."

You can either use any short shank darning/FMQ foot, or use the machine with no presser foot at all....either way will work.

Make sure that the machine is unplugged when you're not actually using it...it's the type (direct current?) that if it's plugged in, it's on....

The machine you have has always been electric, the potted motor and the built in lampshade is a tell all for that. The 201K is the one that was lacking the lamp shade and could be either electric or treadled.

But that is a nice machine to have I got myself one in my studio getting the Spa Treatment right now for one of our members.

Thank you for that info also. I guess I just didn't think about it.

Also the shaft is longer to make up for the potted motor. One of our members has taken the motor off and converted it into a treadle but I am going to see that it takes to convert one today when I work on the 201 that I have in the studio. I think the handwheel off of the 27 will work because the shaft of that machine is longer. If it does then I know how to do the conversion to treadle for any potted motor machine.
