Quick question: I was given a box of attachments and sifted thru them and picked out all the singer ones. In the mix was quite a few Pfaff feet. They look like low shank....are these interchangable on the singer machines which are low shank? Thanks I advance.
Yes, vintage Pfaffs are low shank machines. The feet will work on other low shank machines. There may be a few feet that don't transfer well like a darning foot, but you don't have one of those.
Hmmm, we've got a bunch of Pfaff low shank feet in a grey metal box that look a lot like those. There's a couple feed dog cover plates in there and a bobbin too.
Any way to find out what Pfaff they might be for?

Joe, many vintage Pfaff models can use those feet and they're pretty much interchangeable. It looks like the case matches the one I have for my 362, but they'd work on most of the Pfaff models. The darning foot can be hard to come by. I don't know why they have darning plates though as the feed dogs drop. I guess it's for those that don't want to do that and just snap on a plate??

Thanks for the info. I'll make a note of it for reference. I haven't tried any of these feet yet, kinda thing I should.

If you don't have a vintage Pfaff hold on to those feet - they will act as bait.
I have feet like that for my Pfaff 130. That type of box came with the Pfaff 130, also, as well as that type of bobbin.Quote:

You could do a whole lot worse than attract a Pfaff 130. Wonderful machines! Just one thing: as with another Pfaff I have, they hate, hate, hate bobbin work. Don't put any thread or cord that could fray into the bobbin or you'll be sorry. Ask me how I know.Quote:

The 2nd 3rd and 6th look like they'd be interchangeable with your low shank machines, but I'd guess you have a drawer full of straight stitch and rolled hem feet already... in fact, if you hadn't said they were Pfaff, I'd have guessed they -were- singer feet. When you put them on, make sure that the needle won't strike the foot in any way, and go for it.
I can't tell what 1 and 4 are and 41212 didn't get me anything in a google search. I could swear I've seen #1 before though.
