I need help identifying this machine. It is a light metallic blue and is in a white carry case. It can be removed from it. It says 'WHITE' on the front on a label. It also says Model CB Deluxe. On the very top of the machine it says Precision Sewing Machine.
I found a place underneath that says Made in Japen. Also what appears to be a serial number (LA 19.NA.3346). Underneath on the left side it says J-C4 and on the right side it says 158.

I have tried to attach a pic. Hope it works.

Please let me know if you can help me ID this machine as to the vintage and anything else you might know about it.

She is beautiful. I can't help with your specific machine, but White made some great workhorses, so it should be a good one.

Pretty machine. It looks like one of the Japanese Clones. The Japanese were able to copy Singer machines after WWII and this looks like one of them. I have found that the bobbin winders on the Japanese clones work better than the Singers of this time period. Look underneath for the ID#. And Billy and others on the Vintage Sewing Machine thread will be able to tell you more about this machine or point you in the direction to find more information.

Have fun sewing with this pretty machine.

Yes, it does work. I must have belonged to my Aunt or MIL (her sister). Have no idea. I don't think it has been used very much.
I hope someone on The Board will be able to give me some more info. It is very heavy - all metal parts.
It also has the same size base as my FW 221 and will fit in the table I have for that which is the original table.
