Free Pfaff 213???
 

I have an chance to get a free Pfaff 213. The person says it has been retimed and serviced, but won't sew. Is it worth a minor road trip?

It's been serviced and retimed but still won't sew? Hmmm, sounds like a mystery to me.

I wonder what the last person to work on it did wrong?

If all it costs is a road trip, why not? It just might be something simple.

Um. Yes. It would be gone already if it were near me. I love old Pfaffs.

I sent the email as soon as I thought about for a minute. It had been posted for 11 hours, so it may be already gone. I'll probably know tomorrow. As an Elna owner, I know nothing about Pfaffs, but I'm up for it as long it's not too complicated. I do have a retired repairman I would trust with my Elna - if she were ever to need anything - so I can call him if I need to. I won't be putting much money in it. I don't need 10 sewing machines, but like you, I do like the electric machines.
