hand crank sewing machine

Hey all, I saw a nice, reasonably priced hand crank on sew it's for sale site.

I hope you are able to sell it.

Dretha 01-28-2015 06:00 AM

Where is it for sale at?

It's very pretty.

*I believe the board doesn't allow for sewing machine sales here.

She is not trying to sell the sewing machine. She is thinking of buying it, maybe.
She found it on the "sew it's for sale" site. Punctuation makes a big difference.
So Carol is wondering if perhaps you would like to buy it.

I just bought a Singer 66 with a handcrank. It is also known as a red eye. The stitches are beautiful. I have only made small squares until I am more accustomed to the machine. The cranking easily. There is a good feeling knowing you created something by 'hand'.

My young sewing machine guy gave me a Red Eye. He doesn't want all these old machines hanging around his shop. People just want to get rid of them. So I asked him to put a crank on it. It will need a new flywheel for that, and he showed me the one he had there. Sure doesn't look like the quality of original stuff. Hope I get it back soon. I've never seen a hand crank in person. Can't wait.

The replacement wheels aren't great and they do wobble but they do the job.
