Help! Advice needed on changing a handcranked machine to a treadle

Hi ladies
I have the opportunity to buy a 15k Singer machine. This will be my first vintage machine (1936). I know nothing about vintage machines but I am really attracted to this machine. It is in good condition and working order but is a handcrank at the moment. However, the original treadle is also available and also in good condition. Bearing in mind that I know nothing, will it be difficult to change this machine back to a treadle? I like to be able to hold my fabric with both hands and I think that she will look very pretty on her originally stand.

I just turn a treadle into a handcrank with no problem at all. I would think that you could just unscrew the handcrank mechanism at the base of the machine and remove it completely. Then simply put the machine into a base with a treadle base, attach a belt to the wheel on the treadle base and also to the hand wheel and you should be ready to go. I would be willing to purchase the handcrank mechanism if you no longer want it.
